webR: R code boxes, with GC content in sliding windows

Edit the code and press Run, or Ctrl+Enter. R runs in your browser. It downloads (about 14 MB) when you first click in a box, so the first Run takes a few seconds. The boxes share one R session, so run them in order.

1. Make a DNA sequence with a GC-rich stretch in the middle (simulated data)

2. GC content in sliding windows. Before you run it again, predict what a window of 50 or 1000 will do.

3. Where do the GC-rich windows start and end? The true stretch is bases 1,501 to 2,500.
